Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Image loading, masking, repair, and export are performed in your current browser. The tool itself does not send your image to a server.
What kinds of images work best with Smart Repair?
Smart Repair works best on solid colors, gradients, skies, walls, and backgrounds with simple or repeating textures. Faces, dense text, and fine lines may need additional cleanup with the Clone Stamp.
How do I use the Clone Stamp?
Switch to Clone Stamp, then Alt-click a clean area, or click "Set Sample Point" and select a source area on the image. Paint over the target area to copy texture using a fixed offset.
Why might a very large image be resized?
Very large canvases can consume substantial memory. To help prevent crashes on phones and low-memory devices, the tool may proportionally reduce the working dimensions and will clearly report this in the status area.
Can I remove any watermark or attribution?
Only edit images you own, are authorized to modify, or are otherwise legally permitted to edit. Removing copyright notices, attribution, or source information may infringe the rights of others.
